Our story

Ngwedi ga e latele letsatsi.The moon doesn't chase the sun. Neither do we.

NGWEDI was born from a simple frustration — eyewear built for African faces, African skin tones, and African sun simply didn't exist at a price that made sense. The big brands charge for the logo, not the lens.

We source the finest frames, spec wider bridges, and finish them with lenses and tints named for the Kalahari and the moonlit night. Every pair is an act of reclaiming what's always been ours.
